Vulcan Marketing Manager

Alabama

The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive the growth and success of our custom dental products in the market.  The primary focus of the Marketing Manager is creating innovative marketing campaigns, building brand awareness, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product positioning. This role requires a deep understanding of the dental implant industry, excellent leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset.



The responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to the following:


 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to promote the Vulcan product line and achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and related departments to ensure effective product positioning and launch strategies.
  • Create and implement innovative marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, print, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Manage and oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, product catalogs, presentations, social media, and website content.
  • Manage customer mailings and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and execute participation in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Ensure products are appropriately positioned at courses, tradeshows, and exhibitions.
  • Collaborate with the Vulcan and BioHorizons sales teams to identify market trends, competitive activities, and business opportunities. 
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and industry partners.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively and allocate resources to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Provide training on products and techniques to customer care, sales team, and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 


The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:


 

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of dental or medical device product marketing experience is required.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, including social media, content marketing, SEO, and email campaigns.
  • Experience working within a Quality Management System.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed, including weekends (20-30%).
