Content Developer

Corporate Headquarters

The Content Developer will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, editing, and optimizing high-quality content that educates, engages, and informs our target audiences. This role requires a strong understanding of dental implants and oral reconstruction and the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content across various digital platforms. The Content Developer will be responsible for creating both doctor and patient facing content and will work closely with the Integrated Marketing team to deploy the developed content to support education, service and products in line with company priorities. The position will involve strengthening our relationships with industry KOLs and influencers by working directly with stakeholders to develop shareable content. The Content Developer will develop and produce engaging content for various channels including website, blog, social media, email newsletters, print and marketing materials, and have proficiency in video production and editing.   

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging content for various channels including website, blog(s), social media, email newsletters, and marketing materials; Write clear, concise, and accurate content that resonates with both dental professionals and patients; Create educational materials such as whitepapers, case studies, brochures, and videos; ensure all content adheres to brand guideline and tone of voice. 
  • Video Production: Plan, script, shoot, and edit video content for marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, testimonials, and educational purposes; Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment, to ensure high-quality video production; Edit video content using software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Education, and other team members to ensure content aligns with the overall marketing strategy; Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content; Collaborate with industry KOLs and influencers on content creation. Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure appropriate review and approval of new content.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Apply clinical knowledge of dental implants and workflows, practice operations, digital dental technologies, lab processes, dental implant and biologics materials and applications, and the patient experience to create accurate and informative content.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct field research on dental implant topics, industry trends, and competitors to inform content strategy; Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental implant technology and incorporate relevant information into content; Conduct competitive benchmarking to analyze and compare content strategies and industry standards and apply these insights to improve our content and maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Data-driven Content Strategy & Growth: Use analytics and performance metrics to make informed decisions about content creation and optimization, identifying what resonates with the audience and strategically planning content to support growth objectives. 
  • Social Media: Work with Integrated Marketing team to develop and schedule social media posts to promote content and engage with the audience in conjunction with the content calendar; Monitor social media channels for feedback and interact with followers.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in video production, including scripting, filming, lighting, sound, and editing.
  • Experience with social media platforms.
  • Ability to translate technical information into easily understandable content for both dental professionals and patients.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for content creation, including on-site video shoots, interviews with dental professionals, attending industry conferences, and other relevant events.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Film, or a related field.
  • •3+ years of experience in content development, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry.
